When allowed to use low-cost materials, automotive die processing can make parts as free of waste and less waste blanking. The stamping parts designed must meet the product use and technical performance, and can be easily assembled and repaired. The stamping parts designed should be conducive to the use of existing equipment, process equipment and process flow as far as possible, and to the extension of the service life of the die. The stamping parts designed in this paper have lower requirements for dimension accuracy and surface roughness, and are conducive to product interchange, reducing waste products and ensuring product quality stability. The stamping parts of automobile die processing design must be simple in shape and reasonable in structure in order to simplify the die structure, to simplify the number of working procedures, that is, to use the least, the simplest stamping process to complete the whole part processing, to reduce the re-use of other methods, and to facilitate the organization of stamping operations to achieve mechanized and automated production, in order to improve labor productivity. External forces are exerted on sheet metal, strip pipe and profile by punch and die to produce plastic deformation or separation, so as to obtain the forming method of workpiece with required shape and size, and the workpiece obtained is the stamping part. Stamping and forging belong to plastic processing called forging.
In the manufacture of automobile moulds, there is a great need to master the process, and for each component of the manufacturing and processing are different requirements. For the design of stamping parts, the manufacturing process of automobile die processing is relatively complex, and in the manufacturing process, it is necessary to improve the utilization rate of materials, reduce the use of materials as much as possible to fundamentally save production costs.
