Practice shows that the quality of purchasing raw materials is stable or not, to a large extent, depends on the quality management level of suppliers. Therefore, the quality assurance capability of suppliers of all kinds of raw materials should be evaluated before purchasing automobile moulds.
(1) Evaluation of Class A Raw Material Suppliers
To evaluate the suppliers of Class A raw materials, it is necessary to inspect and evaluate the operation status of their quality system, past supply situation, handling and rectifying ability in case of abnormal supply quality, as well as the ability of timely delivery and quantity of delivery, the ratio of product performance to price, and their after-sales service ability (including after-sales service attitude, timeliness and effect). At the same time, the processing of automobile die should also be evaluated by consulting the supplier's information, investigating and understanding the supplier's other customers, testing and testing the raw material samples, and periodically analyzing the quality of the raw materials.
(2) Evaluation of B and C raw material suppliers.
Generally, the evaluation of suppliers can be achieved by on-the-spot investigation, mainly consulting the information provided by suppliers, testing and probing the raw material samples and analyzing the periodic analysis results of raw material quality. For the evaluation of B-type raw material suppliers, the purchasing department puts forward the "Evaluation List of B-type raw material suppliers" to provide the relevant information of B-type suppliers, or the quality, service and price information such as the inspection and use of B-type raw materials in the past, which can be submitted to relevant departments such as technology, manufacturing, quality and finance for signature (evaluation) and approval by senior managers for automobile die processing. To evaluate the capability of suppliers of Class C raw materials, the purchasing department shall put forward the "Class C supplier evaluation list", which shall be signed by the quality, finance, etc. and signed by the purchasing manager.
Purchasing raw materials from qualified suppliers is not always a good thing. The qualified supplier only shows that the supplier has the basic conditions to provide relatively stable raw materials with quality. Whether the actual quantity of raw materials arrived is in short supply and whether the quality can meet the production requirements is uncertain. Therefore, the quality of raw materials should be strictly controlled before they enter the factory according to the following requirements.
